Theodora 'Teddy'Daitch
Retired High School English Teacher

Theodora Daitch, a Rockaway resident for nearly 50 years, died July 22. She was 76.

Daitch, called "Teddy" by those who knew her, was born and raised in Washington Heights. She was an English teacher at Bushwick High School in Brooklyn for 25 years.

Daitch was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Daitch.

She is survived by her daughter, Carin Bell; son-in-law, Vernon Bell; and grandson, Vance Bell.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parkside Funeral Home in Brooklyn. Burial was at Old Mount Carmel Cemetery in Queens.
