Brady, a member of the International Longshoreman's Association Local 791, was born in Manhattan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen (nee Henson) and brother, Jackie Brady. Brady is survived by his children, Ellen Smith (Ed), Dennis Brady (Susan), Peter Brady, Kevin Brady (Mary Ellen), Kenneth Brady (Helen), Maureen McNamara (Mike) and Michael Brady (Jill); sister, Kathleen Brady; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, where the visitation was held. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Camillus Church. Interment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.
