McDonald-Smith Graduates Valedictorian At Scholars'

Xander McDonald-Smith of Rockaway Park recently graduated first in his class as valedictorian from Scholars' Academy Middle School on June 25, 2007. He also received the Audrey Pheffer Award for Outstanding Achievement and Community Service. McDonald-Smith was the student council vice president and a member of the Scholars' Econ Bowl team, which reached the citywide finals. He also enjoyed playing on the basketball team. McDonald-Smith looks forward to attending the Scholars' Academy high school in the fall and playing on their golf team.
