Rockaway Park Man Busted For Burglarizing Neighbor
By Howard Schwach

A Rockaway Park man was arrested on July 24 when he was allegedly caught breaking into a neighbor's home.

Police say that Brian Clancy, 27, of 114-64 Rockaway Beach Boulevard was arrested by police from the 100 Precinct at about 6:45 p.m. on Monday when Patrick Keane, the owner of the house at 180 Beach 113 Street, observed Clancy kick in the door, splintering the frame.

A spokesperson for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said that Keane saw Clancy trying to get into a locked room on the second floor of the home.

He called police, who responded and reportedly found Clancy on the second floor in the house.

A spokesperson for the DA said that Clancy was arraigned on July 27 on charges of burglary and criminal mischief.

Clancy was released on his own recognizance for a court date later this month.
