for larger version       Ads have a Patent Pending. Click Here for More Information Herbert Jones Herbert Jones, a longtime Rockaway resident, died July 18. He was 77. Jones was born in Charleston, South Carolina on July 20, 1929. He worked for the New York Daily News and the New York City Housing Authority. He also worked in Manhattan's Garment District. Jones is survived by a son and daughter, grandchildren, two nephews, one niece and a cousin, Bernice Jones.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Family Funeral Service of the Rockaways. Visitation was held at the Family Funeral Service Funeral Chapel. Disposition was by Rosemount Crematory.
