for larger version       Mintzer Graduates From Mount Holyoke Amanda Eileen Mintzer graduated from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, on May 27, 2007. Mintzer, a resident of Belle Harbor, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke, majoring in Latin with a minor in biological sciences. She spent a semester abroad in Athens, Greece during her junior year, and Rome, Italy during her senior year. Her extracurricular activities included membership in the Glee Club, Concert Choir, and the American Civil Liberties Union. She served as publicity chair for the Choral Department, senator for the Student Government Association, and was an avid volunteer for several charity and community service events.
Before enrolling in mount Holyoke College, Mintzer attended Midwood High School, and she plans to attend graduate school in New York City and obtain her masters in secondary education. Mintzer is the daughter of Joseph Mintzer of Belle Harbor, New York, and Esther Caldwell of Dallas, Texas.
