for larger version       Patricia E.Earl Patricia E. Earl, a Rockaway resident for six years coming from Woodhaven, died July 15. Earl, a homemaker, was born in Woodhaven, Queens. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Fullem and Mickey Witherby. Earl is survived by her husband, William J., a retired battalion chief for the New York City Fire Department; daughters, Diane Merigliano (Ralph), Laura Heesemann (John), Christine Goddard (Kenny), retired from the New York City Police Department; grandson, Daniel Heesemann; and brother, Thomas Fauls.
Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Genevieve Church in Roxbury. Interment was at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village.
