Fontbonne 'Par-Tees' at Golf and Pool Outing

Desmond McGowan, a recent graduate of Archbishop Molloy High School, joined his dad, Desi McGowan, for a little time together before Desmond heads to Boston College in the fall. Desi had a particularly good day, winning a TaylorMade Burner Rescue for making the shot that was "closest to the pin."
Alumni, faculty, family and friends of Fontbonne Hall Academy recently spent an afternoon at the Richmond County Country Club for the school's seventh annual Golf and Pool Outing. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful, sunny day with great prizes, delicious food and good company.
Rockaway's Tom Mellett (far left) and Dr. Peter Galvin (far right) joined Brooklyn's Peter Tafuri and Tony Lamberti on the links.
Guests were greeted by assistant principal Gilda Piccini King '68, CSJ; principal Sister Dolores Crepeau; and development and alumni relations director, Carol Bedrossian Fell.
John Ohnemus, Jim Whalen, and Jack and Jim Rafferty enjoyed their time together on the course.
Joe Occhiogrosso (far right) and his friends, Robert Moore, Rick Murphy and David Mirabella placed third in the tournament.
John Lavin, Mike Lee, Ken Monahan and Bob Gardner thought the day was first-rate.
