Old-Fashioned Bathing Suit Contest Winners

Laura Pfister (left) and her mother, Peggy Balukas, are pictured together at the Old-Fashioned Bathing Suit Contest held at Riis Park, where they placed first and second, respectively. Balukas is a mother of six and has donated many days as a clown to cheer people up in the New York City area for the past 50 years.
