P.S./M.S.105 Buddy Program

Pictured working on their state map is Deanna Lowe, second grade, and Sabla Stays, seventh grade.
Teachers Ms. Martin and Mr. Krieger recently started a special Buddy Program at P.S./M.S. 105. The program brought together their two classes to work together on a research project, with each secondgrader paired up with a seventhgrader, and teams assigned a U.S. state chosen from the original thirteen colonies. Each team used clay to reproduce the geographical features of the state, and labeled natural landmarks such as rivers, lakes, and mountains.
