Physics Scholars Attend Polytechnic Dinner
The prestigious event is offered to select schools by the staff at Poly and provides an opportunity for exceptional students in science, math and computer science to interact with their peers and faculty members, while exploring the vast and challenging career options available to them in technological fields. Students were treated to dinner and a presentation by Poly faculty member, Dr. Suhl, who discussed his current research in the area of computer research engines. The evening ended with a presentation and certificates in recognition of the students' outstanding accomplishments.
The juniors who were selected for this honor included Jessica Buono, Christina Kennedy, Kristy Khoury, Kareen Matouk, Maria Mis, Elizabeth Monohan, Claire Nolan, Samantha Sapienza and Amanda Valentin.
