Riis Park Kite Festival
Danny Ruscillo, President of the 100 Precinct Community Council, enjoyed a pleasant Saturday at the Riis Park International Kite Festival on June 30, 2007. Families from different parts of the city showed off their eclectic and interesting kites. Their unique colors, shapes, designs, and sizes filled the sky over the west end of the peninsula. Children and adults alike had fun flying their kites and watching the beautiful display.
