Breezy Point Par Tee Golf News
By Peg Ansbro

An interesting thing about golf is that no matter how badly you play, it is always possible to get worse.

In last week's action, Par Tee Golf had a tie for the low gross title and that honor will be shared by Doris Neimeth and Joanna Beck, who both scored 64. Pam Armour and Peg Ansbro were one stroke back with a 65 and Barbara Caramelli had a 68. Scoring in the seventies was; Eileen Witzgall 70, Carol Smyth 72, Joan McNally and Delores McAlery had 73, Lil Hanratty and Pat Kelly scored 76 and Betty Weed had a 78.

Joan McNally, Doris Neimeth and Nancy Tutulo had birdies. Joanna Beck recorded two birdies on one and nine. Chip-ins was credited to Eileen Witzgall and Pat Jordan. Pat Kelly scored a hat trick as she had three chip-ins for the day. What an accomplishment!!

Joanna Beck was nearest to the pin on hole #1 and Barbara Caramelli was the winner on hole #18. Betty Weed won the 50/50.

Now is the time to get your foursomes together for the Guys and Dolls Tournament, which occurs on Thursday, July 19th. Sheila Schaberick will be collecting the checks. If you are interested, the cost is $20 per person and writes the check in attention to "Par Tee Golf".

Golfer: "This is the worst course I've ever played on."

Caddy: "This isn't the golf course. We left that an hour ago."

God Bless. Have a great week!!
