In the most exciting game of the day in the 9-12 year old division, the Yankees came back from an 11-0 deficit to defeat the Mets 12-11. The coaches for both teams included Bernard Robinson, Ray Desmarets, Daniel Reina and umpire Earl Miller. The little league will play four games every Saturday through August 11 starting at 9:30 a.m.
The White Sox and the Cubs, posing here after their game on Saturday, represent the 13 to 15 year-old division. The Athletics and the Yankees are the other teams in the age group.
