RMAC Hosts Cardone,Fontana At First Concert

The Rockaway Music and Arts Council (RMAC) hosted the first of this summer's Sunset Picnic Concerts at Fort Tilden on Sunday evening. The concert featured the comedy of Jack Fontana and the singing of Jerry Cardone. Pictured, a large crowd turned out for the first concert.
RMAC President Stephen Yaeger with membership chair Sharon Gabriel, at the concert. The next concert, featuring Celtic music, will be held at Fort Tilden at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 8. Subsequent concerts will feature country-western music, the Long Island Pops and doo-wop.
Singer Jerry Cardone, who styles the music of Frank Sinatra, was a real crowd-pleaser in his return engagement with the RMAC. All concerts are free.
