Scholars' Academy, NYCHA Lacrosse Duel at Beach Channel

In a lacrosse clash held at Beach Channel High School on June 19, the Scholars' Academy team faced off for the first time against the New York City Housing Authority. The two teams battled strongly in a fun contest but Scholars' Academy came out on top with a 9-5 victory. Both teams exhibited splendid sportsmanship. Special thanks go to Daryl Devore of Ocean Bay Community Center and Joseph Lunati, head coach of Scholars Academy, for their support.
