You can also reduce the strain on the energy supply by running washers, dryers and dishwashers early in the morning, in the evening and on weekends. Conserving energy isn't just about wires and light bulbs. By taking shorter showers or using a low-flow showerhead, you can cut costs on your next energy bill.
