Parent Busted For Attack On School Security Agents
By Howard Schwach

A parent whose child attends PS 43 in Edgemere is due back in Queens Supreme Court today in connection with charges that he attacked two school security agents inside the school building on two separate occasions.

According to court records, Rockaway resident Marc Minott, 29, was inside the school at about 2:20 p.m. on May 25 when he had an altercation with School Safety Officer Natasha Gomez. Minott allegedly pushed Gomez and refused to follow her orders to leave the building.

Records show that Minott left the building, but returned on June 1.

When School Safety Agent Bryan Lord attempted to arrest Minott for the previous assault, the parent allegedly flailed his arms and kicked Lord in the groin area, causing his testicle to swell.

Minott, who lives at 225 Beach 31 Street, was arraigned the following day on charges of assault in the second degree, harassment in the second degree and resisting arrest.

A spokesperson for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said that Minott was released on his own recognizance and faces up to seven years in prison should he be convicted of all charges.

Minott could not be reached for comment on the charges.
