DiResta Graduates From The College Of New Rochelle

Local hairdresser Darlene DiResta, who has been cutting hair on Beach 116 Street almost two decades, graduated from The College of New Rochelle with a BA degree in Liberal Arts. The graduation ceremony, held at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, was attended by her sons James, a graduate of St. Edmund's High School who will serve in the Marines, and Sean. DiResta plans to pursue a master's degree and hopes to teach cosmetology at an NYC Department of Education vocational school.
