Public School 256 Students Celebrate June Field Day
The month of June began with a beautiful display of camaraderie and brotherhood, as the students of PS 256 at St. John's coordinated an action-packed field day for elementary aged students from Temple Beth-El on June 1. The students, whose structured day was organized by physical education teacher Antoine Morris, demonstrated elements of teamwork and positive reinforcement. The events included capture the flag, obstacle course, basketball hotshot, baseball toss, and culminated in an all inclusive relay race. The PS 256 students were pleased as the smiling faces of their neighbors stopped by to watch the festivities.
