The ladies who attend the DSSM Neponsit Adult Day Health Care Center, located in Rockaway Park, celebrated Mother's Day and Older American's Month with a day of beauty and relaxation. In coordination with cosmetics manager Ms. Harriet Miller, and fragrance manager Ms. Angela Fowlin, both from the Macy's Department Store in Kings Plaza, the center's senior activity therapist Ms. Beth Gutman arranged for every female senior and staff member to get "beauty queen" treatment for a day.
Cosmeticians Michelle Tucker (Clinique), Mary Killian (Chanel), Chris Burson (Elizabeth Arden), Sandra Harper (Fashion Fare), and Lindyann Ottely (Lancome) all volunteered their time to pamper the ladies for the day.
