Mill Basin Day Camp:
Serving 1,200 Campers Each Summer

Summers are for having fun, says the owner of the Mill Basin Day Camp. Summers are for making friends and memories that last a lifetime. That's what Mill Basin Day Camp is all about. Founded in 1998, MBDC opened its doors that summer with 105 campers and has grown to become the largest and most popular summer day camp in Brooklyn. MBDC serves 1200 campers annually from Brooklyn, Long Island and Queens and employs over 200 staff each season ranging from NYC Licensed teachers to 14-year-old Junior Counselors in Training. Mill Basin Day Camp is dedicated to providing an exciting and fulfilling camp experience for campers, parents and staff.

A true family atmosphere is felt by all those past and present MBDC families. Their doors are open year round so families and staff can stop in a say hi anytime. Each winter, MBDC has a much anticipated "Camp Reunion" where hundreds of campers gather to see summer friends and get excited about the upcoming season. This summer, MBDC is adding a brand new Miniature Golf Course and Game Show Network to it's already impressive lineup of programs and activities.
Located in the El Caribe Country Club and are a modern, fully equipped, air-conditioned and secure facility that offers a wide range of on site activities for children entering Pre-K through 9th grade. Many former campers have gone on to become counselors and instructors and use their camp experience as they obtain the college degrees in education and children's services.
