St.Camillus Students Have Fun and Help Their School

Ms. Allocca is pictured with her hardworking second graders.
On Friday May 25, 2007 the students of St. Camillus participated in the schools first Walk-A-Thon. The event was organized as a fundraiser for the school with support from family, friends, and neighbors. It turned out to be a great day for the students and teachers alike as the weather was beautiful and everyone was full of school spirit and ready to exercise. While the lower grades walked a mile in the schoolyard, grades 5-8 walked three miles on the boardwalk, and everyone celebrated with hot dogs, refreshments, and a relaxed day in school upon their return. Overseeing all of the fun and excitement was Sister Agnes White, the school principal, as well as several parents who volunteered their time.
