Broad Channel Hosts BCVFD Memorial,Parade

The patriotic community of Broad Channel celebrated its Memorial Day with a memorial service and a parade on Sunday, May 27. The day began with a memorial service at the Noel Road headquarters of the Broad Channel Volunteer Fire Department at 10 a.m. and continued with a parade on Cross Bay Boulevard at 2 p.m. That ceremony terminated with a wreathlaying ceremony at the memorial triangle.
