After a very long season that began with try-outs in November, the St. Francis de Sales girls swimming team finished the season last weekend. The CYO Division 'A' swimming championships were held on Saturday, April 28, at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park. The team's record was three wins and three losses and with a fourth place finish, the girls represented the parish team with pride. The swimmers of all ages were energetic, spirited and very pleased with their placement in the meet. At their senior walk, the ninth graders stood proudly to continue to set a wonderful example as they have done all season. Congratulations go to swimmers Alix Blustein, Aimee Dieham, Katelyn Higgins, Lauren Linares, Morgan White, and Elizabeth Woods: you'll be missed!!!!!
