Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With Potty Truck

A young man was killed while riding his Honda motorcycle southbound on Cross Bay Boulevard just south of the Wildlife Refuge last Monday when he inexplicably crashed into the rear end of a truck owned by the Call-A-Head Company, which is headquartered on the northbound side of the roadway, but often parks its trucks on the southbound side as well. Sources identified the man as Ozone Park resident George Geano, 26. The accident, which happened at approximately 8:40 p.m. on May 21, is under investigation by police officers from the Accident Investigation Division. Geano is just the latest in a long line of people who have died in motor vehicle accidents on that stretch of Cross Bay Boulevard in recent years. In January, off-duty police sergeant Angel Arcentales, 37, was killed in the same area when his car hit the rear end of a Department of Sanitation street sweeper.
