St.Francis De Sales Passion Play

St. Francis de Sales School students celebrated Holy Week this year by remembering the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The sixth grade students practiced for weeks in preparation for a Passion Play. Jesus was played by sixth grader Anthony Castellano, while Mary, the mother of Jesus was played by Jenna Hoffman. Many other members of the sixth grade class were involved in the re-enactment. The Passion Play was a reverent and beautiful reminder of the holiest week in the Catholic Church's calendar. Pictured, left to right: Castellano as Jesus walks with his cross, followed by Roman soldiers played by Terence Stackpole, Matthew Crockett, Ryan McDade and Andrew Dunbar.
