100 Precinct Salutes Cops OfMarch And April

Officer Bryan Pillittier (of the anti-crime unit), right, who the commander of the 100 Precinct Captain Charles Neacy calls a real go-getter, receives the award for Cop of the Month for March from Neacy and 100 Precinct Community Council President Danny Ruscillo. Neacy said it was Pillittier's powers of observation that helped effect an arrest of one man and then, three weeks later, the arrest of an accomplice.
Neacy and Ruscillo join officers Donald Nelzi and Rhone Thompson as they receive the April Cops of the Month awards. It was the officer's powers of observation that set in motion the process to find the evidence to seal a case against a shooter as well as recover a 45 semi-automatic and crack in a trap compartment of the accused's car.
