'Seniors In Shape' Classes At Aviator
Many seniors from the peninsula took advantage of free, ongoing exercise classes as part of the program "Seniors in Shape," currently being held at Aviator Sports and Recreation Complex in Floyd Bennett Field until May 31. Seniors practiced various exercises, including Tai Chi, Slimnastics and ballroom dance. Pictured are seniors working out in an arthritis exercise class. Participants aged 55 and over can attend Seniors in Shape "Senior Thursdays" classes, which are held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
