170 Take To The Boardwalk For Ocean Run

The weather was perfect for running and the venue was Riis Park rather than Beach 116 Street as 170 runners stepped off for the annual Rockaway Rotary Run, sponsored by Sweet'N Low. With temperatures in the 60's and a flat race course, runners turned in some of the best times in the long history of the event. For the results and more photographs, see pages 88 and 89.
