Local Receives High School Scholarship
Daniel Young, a Breezy Point resident, recently received a scholarship award from the New York City Sanitation Department's Emerald Society on April 21 at their annual dinner dance at Leonard's of Great Neck. Young will graduate from The Scholars' Academy in June of this year and will attend St. Edmund's High School in the fall. He is pictured at the dinner dance receiving his award with parents, Eileen and Jason Young; grandmother, Patsy Young; Sanitation Commissioner John Doherty and Deputy Commissioner Michael Bimonte.
