PHC Thanks Muré For Fundraising Efforts

Robert V. Levine (left), President and Chief Executive Officer of Peninsula Hospital Center, affiliate of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, is shown thanking Joseph Muré, Jr., Esq. (right), member of the Hospital Center's Board of Directors, who, on behalf of his family, presented the Hospital Center with a check for $25,000. These funds represent monies raised by the Muré family through a variety of annual fund raising efforts which benefit the Pediatric Diabetes Treatment Program at PHC and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. "We, as a hospital center, are so privileged to have a supportive community," stated Levine. "Joe and his family have made a significant difference and because of their efforts, our Pediatric Diabetes Treatment Program has continued to grow. This is a collaboration which truly benefits the health of the children of our rapidly growing community."
