O'Connell Post Presented With Plaque
Appreciation From Soldiers Serving In Iraq

Army Specialist Kevin McKeon presents Post 272 Commander Jack Leff with a Certificate of Appreciation. The American Legion post sent over large packages to several local soldiers serving overseas.
During a recent two-week home visit, Army Specialist Kevin McKeon took the time to attend a Daniel M. O'Connell American Legion Post 272 meeting to extend his and his unit's appreciation for the holiday packages the American Legion sent over in November 2006.

Accompanied by his wife and parents, McKeon presented Post 272 Commander Jack Leff with his unit's Certificate of Appreciation. McKeon has since returned to Iraq to complete his tour of duty.

The American Legion asks that residents keep McKeon and his fellow servicemen and women in their thoughts and prayers.
