Doctors Honored By St. John's Hospital

St. John's Episcopal Hospital honored its medical staff and residents on Doctors' Day, Friday, March 30, 2007, with a brunch along with door prizes and gifts. The first Doctors' Day was celebrated on March 30, 1933, in Windsor, Georgia, and in 1990, President George H.W. Bush signed an executive order declaring that day National Doctors' Day in recognition of the "debt of gratitude" owed to the contributions of physicians.
Also at Doctors' Day were (from left to right): Sharon Behar, RN, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs; Puangsri Suwankosai, MD, Chairman of Pathology; and Tessy Peter, MD, Association Chairperson, Family Practice.
Members of the Anesthesiology Department attended Doctors' Day including (from left to right): Kongseh Lim, MD, Anesthesiology; Raymond Pastore, MD, Chief Medical Officer; Luis A. Hernandez, Chief Executive Officer; Mahammad Hussain, MD, Anesthesiology; and Kshitiji Patel, MD, Anesthesiology.
