Fresh Easter Flowers At AA 587 Memorial
Each new holiday brings fresh flowers to the Beach 116 Street memorial honoring those who died in the tragic crash of American Airlines Flight 587 into Belle Harbor on November 12, 2001. The memorial, honoring the 265 people who died that day has drawn a steady list of visitors during the year and that number is expected to increase as the summer draws near and the sixth anniversary of the crash comes in the fall. These flowers were left on Easter.
