Queens Veterans Information Day

Vietnam Veterans of America, Queens Chapter #32 Inc. is hosting its 16th annual Veterans Information Day (VID) on Saturday, May 19 at Lost Battalion Hall, 93-29 Queens Boulevard in Rego Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This casual walk-in event is open to veterans of all eras, with information about benefits veterans may be entitled to, including current VA benefits, health care information and document retrieval. Free assistance in filing for Department of Veterans Affairs compensation and pension claims will also be available. Veteran service providers, employers and other agencies will be in attendance. There will also be job opportunities at the informational; veterans are encouraged to bring copies of current resumes.

Spouses and eligible dependents of veterans are also invited to attend.A copy of veteran discharge papers, if available, should be brought to the event.
