Public Advocate 'Investigates' The Wave

Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum stopped by The Wave office in Rockaway Beach for her first-ever visit on Thursday, April 5. Gotbaum had a look around and sat down for an informal chat with Wave Managing Editor Howard Schwach. Gotbaum and Schwach's 45-minute conversation touched on several key issues including transportation, schools, infrastructure and Rockaway's population growth. Here, the Public Advocate checks out Wave front pages from weeks past. For more information on the Public Advocate's Office, dial 311 or go to www.pubadvocate.nyc.gov.
Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum and Wave Managing Editor Howard Schwach spoke for the better part of an hour inside the Wave's conference room.
