St. Patrick's Day Parade Steps Off This Saturday, March 3

The Queens St. Patrick's Day Parade will step off Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. from Beach 129 Street and Newport Avenue. The parade will march east on Newport Avenue to Beach 116 Street and then south to Rockaway Beach Boulevard and east to Beach 90 Street. The reviewing stand will be located at the end of the parade route this year rather than on Beach 105 Street. Residents should note that there will be parking restrictions along the parade route and on a number of other west end streets as well. Pictured, young Irish stepdancers from last year's parade.
