for larger version       FRHS Class Of '57 To Hold Fiftieth Reunion The Far Rockaway High School Class of 1957 will hold its fiftieth reunion this year on Saturday, June 23 at the Marriott Uniondale Hotel near Roosevelt Field. Organizers of the reunion, Linda Stone and Gail Bookvar Jurrish told The Wave that there are 120 seats for the event and that reservations are and deposits are coming in very quickly. Those interested in reserving a seat should send a $50 deposit to Lucille Moskowitz, 7137 Wind Chime Drive, Fort Worth, Texas, 76133. The balance of the $100 fee will be due on April 1, the organizers say. As part of the reunion, there is a planned tour of Rockaway by bus, which will take in the local schools, neighborhoods, new construction and various sites of interest. Those interested in taking the tour are asked to email Stone at Stoneof ny@aol.com. Stone is looking for information on classmates and teachers for inclusion in the reunion program.
