The CORNER BACHELORS (Bobby Keiley, Bob O'Brien and Jor Kilbride) were in Kennedy's last week and I learned Bobby Keiley was one of the private Super Bowl Winners. He was kind of shy about it. Did he think someone was going to "hit" on him. O'Brien had info about Access a Ride, but it is not true. Ran into Ellen and Lenny Wunder, members of the BPSC for years and Ellen brought up about my dear, dear friend, Claire Ashton who died over ten years ago. ( Just in case anyone of you did not know that). Ellen and Lenny wear their years very well. If any one of you would like to put an item in my column I do stop into Kennedy's on a Saturday or Sunday at about 2 or 4 O'clock. Otherwise you can give your item to Joe Kilbride and he will save it or me. But you do know my e-mail: dorothydunne@yahoo.com. Before I venture to Kennedy's I stop into Janet's Studio "J" because I can find no one who does my nails so well and puts such beautiful designs on them. She now tells me she has a great color system called "Sillerm". and it makes your locks luscious. Sometimes I see Geraldine Chapey (Wave columnist), there, but not last week. Just will have to read her column to keep up with her New York City is always buzzing with things to do. The Toy Fair at the Javit's Center kept me busy half the week during the day. Tables Restaurant was the venue for the fundraiser for Indian Children in Calcutta with a 5 course Indian meal. New Yorkers for New York Awards was a great night with dancing to the Peter Duchin Orchestra, silent auction and Awards to Outstanding New Yorkers with a commitment to improving the quality of life in NYC.: Pete Hamill; Martina Arroyo; Jonathan Capehart; Karen Redliner and Irwin Redliner, M.D. and Lisa Schiff…… Manhattan Car Show, showing off the beautiful Lamborghinis and a Fur Show, all in one. Minks and Sable, pressed mink that looks like seal, but why do that???. Manhattan Center showed off its new bath image with chocolate desserts. The Four Seasons Restaurant welcomes the Rodman & Renshaw Investment Dinner. Very, very elegant. The Four Seasons can't be beat for food and service. It is tops with me. Tuscany wine tasting at the Marriott Marquis where a combination of Merlot and Sangenese was my favorite and it surely did compliment the Osso Buco they served . A real hearty meal to sustain you for the cold weather outside. At 730 Fifth Ave the Puglia Region had a press conference and we tasted the wines of that region and got to know the companies of that along with the Italian pastas. TRAVEL: Bahamas Special w R/T air for $399 at Lucaya for three days. Bk. NOW. Give me a call and AWAY WE GO!!!
