SJEH Fetes New Parents With Special Meal

Look who the stork brought! At St. John's Episcopal Hospital, Nube and Maximo Quito (seated) were among the first parents to be offered a Celebration Meal following the delivery of their son, Andy, who arrived on November 25, weighing 6 pounds, 7 ounces. The Hospital has begun offering all newly delivered parents a sit-down celebration meal, with a choice of stuffed chicken breast, braised steak au jus, baked salmon or crab cake. Hospital staff members are very excited about the start of this new program. Pictured are hospital staff with the new parents and their newborn, including (from left to right): Arlene Small, RN, Maternity; Carol Hunt, RN, Nurse Manager, Maternity and Nursery; and Arlene Falconer-Hill, RN, Administrative Nursing Supervisor.

The happy parents were also among the first to receive the Hospital's special meal.
