Pheffer Announces Kingsborough CC Program

Assemblywoman Audrey I. Pheffer has announced that Kingsborough Community College will again be offering their "My Turn" program to area seniors, age 60 and older.

The program is a special tuition-free, matriculating, college education program being offered to New York State residents who, by the first day of class, are 60 years of age or older. The college offers over 400 courses through the program and participants attend classes with traditional students. "This is a wonderful program that affords seniors a unique opportunity to explore new interests and participate in the college experience," said Pheffer. The program applies to the 12-week fall and spring sessions, as well as the six-week winter and summer sessions, and requires payment of an $80 registration fee.

For further information, you can contact the college at 718-368-5079 or visit their website, at www.kingsborough.edu/myturn.
