Dear Editor, I believe the greatest asset we have in the west end of Rockaway is the fact that we live in a low-density community. Anybody who has a seemingly impossible situation to overcome should contact him. Dear Editor, In 1991, I lost my daughter Iris to AIDS. I was totally involved in trying to save her life....but of course I could not. I did become an activist after she died and did everything I could to help others. One day I met a politician who told me that AIDS would never affect me, it only hits 'those' kind of people.
