20 Breaking automobile windows with an axe led to arrest on Tuesday, December 8, about noon, for David Rayside of 139 Beach 61 Street, Arverne.

Mayor Edward I. Koch allegedly threatened last month to arrange for subsidized Nehemiah Plan homes to be built in the Arverne Urban Renewal Area rather than market-rate development favored by Queens Borough President Claire Shulman if she opposed his plans for a housing project in the Bronx.
