"The Diary of Anne Frank," presented by The Bayswater Players, opened last week in a run of eleven performances, at The Bayswater Jewish Center Theater in Far Rockaway.

The performances are dedicated to the memory of those Jews who perished in the Holocaust and to the unknown millions of others who were victims of the Nazi nightmare. The play depicts one of the most inhumane periods of history, but also celebrates the endurance of the human spirit, as it chronicles the last days of Anne and her family as they lived in hiding from the Nazis.

The play is performed on Thursdays at 8 p.m. (except Thanksgiving Day), Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m., from November 8 to December 2. For ticket information, call 516-239- 2632 or visit www.bayplays.com.
