Margaret Andresen, a 35 year Rockaway resident, died October 27. She was 87.

Andresen, born on February 20, 1920, moved to Rockaway from Coney Island. Once she retired, she relocated to Shirley, New York.

She is survived by her children, Martin (Susan), George, James, Robert (Susan), Peggy Califano (Ted) and Thomas (Barbara); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Roma Funeral Home in Shirley, New York. A private funeral service was held.
