JASA Goes Apple Picking

After spending time apple picking, the Roy Reuther seniors enjoy the afternoon on the boardwalk at Sunken Meadow State Park. After spending time apple picking, the Roy Reuther seniors enjoy the afternoon on the boardwalk at Sunken Meadow State Park. JASA Roy Reuther Senior Center went apple picking on Tuesday, October 16 at Fort Salonga Farms in Northport, Long Island. Forty seniors picked one-half of a bushel of apples to take home. Afterwards, the Senior Center went to Sunken Meadow State Park, where they enjoyed lunch on the boardwalk and a spectacular view of the Connecticut shoreline.
