Beach Channel High School Homecoming

Beach Channel High School celebrated its Homecoming on Saturday, September 29, 2007. The pep rally began at 11 a.m. with a parade around the BCHS track led by the school band and the Dolphins' mascot, and followed up by the student body. The Student Council and Leadership class built a homecoming float and held elections for the royal court. The 2007 King and Queen are Mark Walters and Keisha Burch, and the Prince and Princess are Wanerson Jean and Shanice Patterson. Elected to the royal court were Shavonna Meadows, Joshua Brown, Chastity Marin and Nelson Rosa. With the full support and effort of all involved, BCHS finally broke its curse, winning its homecoming football game for the first time since staff member Shiela Murray, the event coordinator, initially organized homecoming in 2003.
