The 2007 Broad Channel Athletic Club Pee Wee Shamrocks opened their season at home versus Rosedale last Saturday night. In a tight-knit contest, the Shamrocks and Rosedale battled to a 6-6 tie.

Rosedale opened their next possession by getting on the scoreboard Rosedale's runningback made a nice cut back to midfield and scored on a 39 yard TD to tie the game at 6-6.

The Shamrock Offense was ready to roll as the third quarter began. Jessup and Hoff combined for 41 yards but BCAC committed penalties that moved them back 15-yards and a fumble, which was recovered by Rosedale, ended the drive.

The BCAC defense made a big play when Cimino stripped a Rosedale RB and recovered the fumble that brought the Shamrock Offense back onto the field.

The offense got moving down the field when Jessup ran outside for 15 yards. Rosedale was assessed with a 15-yard personal foul penalty and Hoff took a pitch for 13 yards. The drive stalled on the next play when Rosedale stripped the ball and recovered the fumble.
