Erin On The Rox
Congratulations to our new Mayor of Roxbury for 2007, Paul Rodman. Mr. Byrnes lost in a close vote, so Jeannie will be continuing to play her kazoo. Good luck in your tenure as Mayor, Paul.
I hope everyone had a great time this Mardi Gras. As usual, Head over Heels, Blue Monday and DJ Moe did a great job. For all those who were there at the field on Saturday for the judging, the blessing that Father said was truly special; he asked us to be thankful for this special place and I think it is fair to say that we all are.
Congratulations to Danielle Barbosa on her graduation from Fontbonne Hall Academy. She celebrated with family and friends on August 18 at Pier 92. She graduated with honors from Fontbonne and is attending Fairleigh Dickinson University on a partial scholarship. Her entire Roxbury family helped her celebrate, including: Grandmother Claire Barbosa, Uncle Mike, Aunt Laurie, and cousins Jenna, Elora and Jack Barbosa; her family from Breezy Point, including: Aunt Jacqueline, Uncle Ricky and cousin Crystal; as well as the Leavens, Reids, Cavalles, Matteras, McEnroes, Healys and Livotis, who were all there to show their love and support for Danielle's new chapter in her life. We wish Danielle much love and best wishes!
